Housing and food assistance are crucial for survivors of sexual assault, human trafficking, or domestic violence. Safe housing offers security and stability, while food assistance ensures proper nutrition. Together, these resources support survivors in healing, regaining independence, and rebuilding their lives.

Housing Services

Commonly used housing programs and applications in Dunn County:

  • Dunn County Housing Authority

  • Housing Authority of the City of Menomonie

  • Impact Seven

  • ACC Management

  • Landmark

  • WestCAP

What are things you need?

  • Driver’s License/ State ID

  • Birth Certificates for all members in the household

  • Social Security cards for all members in the household

Important factors to keep in mind:

  • What location are you interested in?

  • Do you have reliable transportation?

  • Does a member of the household have income?

  • What are some appropriate programs that your family could qualify for? W-2, WIC, Foodshare, Options for Women, etc.

  • Does anyone in your household have any felonies or evictions?

The Pantry

The food pantry provides essential support to survivors of sexual assault, human trafficking, or domestic violence by ensuring access to nutritious food. Available to those currently using services or who have used services within the last 3 months, the pantry is open Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM. This reliable resource helps survivors maintain their health and well-being, allowing them to focus on recovery and rebuilding their lives.
